Find your calling at Mercy! Under the supervision of Director Child Therapy Services, assumes managerial responsibility for coworkers within outpatient pediatric therapy services, including but not limited to Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapists, therapy technicians, and Supervisors of Therapy Services. Provides an environment that is consistent with established pediatric rehabilitation, Mercy Kids Autism Center, and Medical Center policy and procedures. Partners with Director Child Therapy Services and Medical Director on operational and strategic direction of programs. Responsible for assuring quality and appropriateness of services provided and for management and evaluation of process/quality improvement. Actively manages all aspects of budget for respective cost centers. Manages daily operations for pediatric therapy services including adherence to both Mercy and department policies and procedures. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details:

Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Communication Disorders, required

Licensure:
State Board of Healing Arts license in the applicable state of practice, required

Experience:
Minimum 5 years licensed experience; minimum of two years of supervisory experience.

Certification/Registration:
BLS certified, required

Other Skills and Knowledge:
The Manager should have the ability to work well with all types of people: patients, physicians, nurses, management staff, and other members of the health team, communicating well both professionally and personally. Requires strong initiative and professional drive to motivate staff, support and carry out administrative directives. Able to understand, promote, and contribute to positive working relationships within and between therapy centers. Assist in exemplifying and maintaining a professional environment of high ethical behavior, professional morale, thoroughness of treatment, reliable execution of orders, enforcement of standard practices, and awareness of handling emergencies and routine situations.
