Description Maine Medical CenterPortland, ME What is aRespiratory Care Trainee? Itisan employee of a health care facility who is enrolled in the clinicalportionof a COARC-accredited respiratory care educational program. RT students aregenerally eligibleto apply for the Trainee license (TR) with the State of Maine at the start of their senior year (final year) Trainees may perform services under the on-site supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner.
