$3,000 for LCSW and $10,000 for LICSW Starting rates: LCSW: $68,224 LICSW: $92,227 Summary The Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Social Worker supports individuals and families in both ambulatory and inpatient settings when they are navigating high risk pregnancies, experiencing loss, considering adoption, or have experienced trauma. The MFM Social Worker provides consultation to interdisciplinary colleagues as needed. The Social Worker is responsible for performing social work assessments and interventions as needed for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients. They are dedicated to patient and family-centered care that values personal self-determination, skilled at managing multiple priorities at once, and engaging in creative, compassionate, and ethical problem-solving. As a member of a multidisciplinary health team, they perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans that integrate the medical, social, and resource issues that impact individual patients, families, and at-risk populations. Social Workers are responsible for working collaboratively with all healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans that support patient-centered plan of care for both individual patients and the medical community. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Provides psychosocial assessments of patients and families with social, emotional, interpersonal and/or environmental issues. -Formulates biopsychosocial assessment, disposition, and treatment plans. -Collaborate with other professionals to evaluate patients' medical or physical condition and to assess client needs as part of the interdisciplinary team. -Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in the treatment and care plan. Education Experience Social Worker I: Clinical experience in medical setting 0-1 year required Licensed Clinical Social Worker [LCSW - State License] required Social Worker II Clinical Experience in a medical setting 2-3 years required Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker [LICSW - State License] required Addendum Hires with LCSW are required to obtain LICSW licensure within 12 months of The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
