What you will enjoy doing*
- You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot air separation plants at customer sites
- In this role, you will serve as the primary technician responsible for assigned plant locations and diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues independently
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on compressors (centrifugal and reciprocating), gas analyzers, electrical control systems, and pneumatic control valves
- Further, you will monitor plant performance and implement actions to maintain or improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Manage daily work schedules, maintenance activities, and operational priorities
- You will coordinate internal teams and external contractors for maintenance, repairs, and audits
- And you will maintain accurate operational logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership regarding plant status and issues
- Support multiple locations as needed, including occasional travel outside assigned area
- Also you will assist with onboarding and training of new technicians when required
What makes you great
- You have a high school diploma required; associate's degree in a technical field preferred
- Two to five (2-5) years of operations or technical experience preferred
- Ability to safely perform physical job requirements, including driving a service vehicle (2-3 hours daily, up to 8 hours as needed), walking on uneven industrial terrain, bending and stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting 5-15 lbs regularly, 15-45 lbs intermittently, and 45-75 lbs occasionally
- Performing hands-on work using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform administrative tasks and computer work as needed (1-2 hours daily)
- You are willing to participate in an on-call rotation with 24/7 availability using a company-issued phone and laptop
- Ability to meet physical and job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
