Job Description


The Technical Acquisition section oversees the supply/logistics effort in support of maintenance facilities at YPG. The primary mission is to order repair parts through government and local acquisition channels to repair vehicles, weapons and equipment. Responsibility also includes replenishment of shop stock, bench stock and/or other mission essential parts for Maintenance Operations. The supervisor is responsible for the overall section supervision, training, equipment inventory, operations, scheduling, and managing a team to support contractual requirements for TRAX. The supervisor ensures customer service excellence, follows and enforces all company policies and procedures, maintains a knowledge base, strives for continuous process improvement, meets established performance metrics, and reports requirements related to operations. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining section documentation supporting contractual requirements (SOPs, calibration, training, checklists, maintenance logs, licenses, etc.). The supervisor will meet with customers to identify requirements and offer/develop solutions to meet those requirements. The supervisor will communicate section information with TRAX management, customers, and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), as needed. The supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to, managing personnel compliance with training requirements, policies and procedures; thoroughly involved in the recruiting process and selecting candidates for employment; managing assignments and equipment; developing and implementing shop procedures; generating and distributing required reports; monitoring and approving assignments and timesheets; recommending equipment for purchase to improve efficiency and quality; developing equipment lists and procurement plans and coaching, training, mentoring, and administering personnel disciplinary actions. The supervisor shall follow established governmental regulations, organizational guidelines, company policies and procedures when performing job responsibilities. Performs other duties as required to complete the assigned mission.

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:

*Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

*Must have one of the following: 10 years' related experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree / Military training in a related field and 8 years related experience, or equivalent experience***.

*Relevant experience leading 10 or more personnel.

Job Skills Requirements:



*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

*Ability to design, develop, and document technical solutions.

*Leadership and Conflict management skills.

*Equipment and personnel resource scheduling skills.

*Excellent interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated customer service experience

Physical Requirements:

*Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.

*Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.

*Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

*Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted and capable of climbing up and into large vehicles up to 10 feet high.

*Must be capable of kneeling, squatting, bending and standing while performing duties.

*Must be able to distinguish colors.

*Must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the section SOPs.

*Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:



*Seven years experience in a government supply operation or related material acquisition field, utilizing an automated computer-based repair parts and material, inventories, and control system to process data.

*Three years experience with Government Supply Regulations

*A professional with a wide range of experience in the maintenance/supply field to include: acquisition procedures, contract management, hazardous material/waste programs, maintenance and Department of the Army requirements.

*Demonstrated project management and conflict resolution experience.

Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements:

*Must be a U.S. Citizen and not hold multiple citizenships.

*Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.

*Must be a current TRAX employee or affiliate subcontractor for internal postings.
