We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient 3D Designer to join a dynamic team dedicated to crafting visually stunning and inspiring editorial content for a leading digital content platform. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bringing innovative concepts to life, directly influencing how users discover and engage with new experiences. • Title: 3D Visual Designer
• Location: Culver City, CA or Cupertino, CA
• Schedule: In-Office T/W/Th; Remote M/F
• Pay Rate: $65/hour (Culver City), $70/hour (Cupertino)
• Pay Comments: W2, weekly pay, benefits, 401k w/ match
• Background screening required

**Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate closely with design, art direction, and editorial teams to deliver compelling, elegant creative solutions.

* Develop and implement 3D best practices, contributing to the overall visual language and quality standards.

* Translate conceptual ideas into innovative, inspiring, and visually stunning 3D-led design solutions.

* Execute highly polished, composited style frames from design development through final production.

* Contribute functional expertise to a collaborative team, fostering an environment of creative work that energizes and excites users.

* Shape the future of editorial content through a combination of technical expertise and creative vision.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* 5+ years of professional experience focused on 3D design within media, entertainment, gaming, and/or marketing.

* Mastery of Cinema 4D, encompassing animation, modeling, lighting, and texturing.

* Proficiency with industry-leading render engines such as Redshift and Octane.

* Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to produce highly polished, composited style frames.

* Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional, fast-paced collaborative production environment.

* A strong enthusiasm for digital content, gaming, technology, and visual culture.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Working knowledge of other 3D software, including Maya, Unreal Engine, and Unity.

* Adeptness in the technical aspects of rendering, plug-ins, and novel 3D workflows.

* Proactive, analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

* Strong foundational design skills, including composition, typography, and experience with brand systems.
