Description

LAZ parking is seeking experienced individuals with at least 5+ years of experience in Luxury Hospitality Management with high volume. Will manage a 5-star oceanfront property with 300+ rooms, featuring restaurants and entertainment. Acts as the duty manager (on the drive) where required and during high-profile events.

The Luxury Hospitality Manager leads the daily operation, ensuring every interaction reflects the property's Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star standards. This role is responsible for team leadership, service excellence, guest satisfaction, and operational consistency, serving as a key driver of the property's reputation for sincere, anticipatory, and refined hospitality.



Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience Oversight



  • Personally engage with guests during high-volume periods, VIP arrivals, and service recovery moments
  • Ensure every guest receives a sincere, unhurried greeting and farewell, per Five-star standards
  • Monitor guest feedback related to valet service and implement improvements
  • Resolve escalated guest concerns (wait times, vehicle issues, disputes) swiftly and gracefully


Vehicle Safety & Risk Management



  • Establish and enforce protocols for safe vehicle handling, parking, and retrieval
  • Oversee vehicle condition documentation (drop-off inspections) to protect guests and the property
  • Investigate and manage any vehicle damage claims, incidents, or accidents, including documentation and insurance coordination
  • Ensure compliance with driving policies
  • Maintain organized, efficient vehicle staging and traffic flow to minimize wait times and safety risks


Operational Management



  • Oversee daily valet operations, staffing levels, and scheduling to ensure seamless coverage during peak arrivals/departures and events
  • Coordinate to ensure smooth, integrated guest arrival/departure experiences
  • Manage valet equipment, technology (parking systems, key management), and vendor relationships
  • Manage departmental budget, labor costs, and expenses


Standards & Compliance



  • Ensure team adherence to Forbes Travel Guide (or equivalent luxury standard) service protocols
  • Conduct ongoing training on driving safety, service standards, and brand voice
  • Prepare for and support third-party evaluations, mystery shops, and quality audits
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, labor, and company policies


Administrative & Strategic



  • Prepare operational reports, incident summaries, and staffing forecasts for leadership
  • Analyze guest satisfaction data and valet KPIs (wait times, incident rates) to identify improvement opportunities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the valet department
  • Represent valet operations in property-wide leadership meetings


Qualifications

Required



  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred
  • 3+ years of valet or parking operations experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory/management role
  • Proven experience in a luxury or five-star hotel/resort environment
  • Ability to competently drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain composed and solutions-focused under pressure, especially during high-volume periods


Preferred



  • Experience at a Forbes Travel Guide, AAA Five Diamond, or Leading Hotels of the World property
  • Experience managing luxury, exotic, or high-value vehicle handling protocols
  • Multilingual ability
  • Familiarity with valet/parking management systems and hotel PMS platforms

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is desired.


Working Conditions

  • Primarily stationed outdoors at the property entrance/valet area, in all weather conditions
  • Physically active role: frequent walking, occasional driving, and hands-on staff supervision
  • Fast-paced, high-visibility environment, especially during peak arrivals, departures, and property events
  • Flexibility required for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Exposure to traffic patterns and varying road/lot conditions
  • Lift up to 50lbs.
