Mortgage Customer Service Representative (Inbound) Pay Rate: * $17.00/hr (English) * $18.50/hr (Bilingual Spanish) Start Date: June 9 Training: First 45 days fully on-site * Training Schedule: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Post-Training Schedule: * 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Hybrid) * Hybrid eligibility is based on attendance, quality, and performance metrics Important: No time off is allowed during the first 6 weeks of employment. Job Responsibilities * Handle 35-45 inbound calls per day (average 11-14 minutes per call) * Answer insurance-related inquiries for mortgage servicing * Support borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions * Address questions related to: * Homeowners insurance * Payments and coverage details * Accurately document calls and research information across multiple systems * Maintain strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance * Deliver professional customer service and effective problem resolution Required Skills * Customer Service * Call Center Experience (preferred) * Data Entry * Strong communication skills Qualifications MUST HAVE * At least 1 year of recent customer service experience * (Call center preferred; will consider admin/front desk experience) * Comfortable using a Windows-based system and multiple tools * Typing speed of 35+ WPM * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Reliable internet connection (required for remote work) * Reliable transportation NICE TO HAVE * 2+ years of call center experience * Mortgage or insurance experience Assessments * Basic Computer Literacy (70% passing) * Typing Test (35 WPM minimum) Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI.
