*FraudAnalyst (Fraud & Compliance)* *Location:* Hillsboro, OR (Hybrid)
*Pay:* $26.00 - $30.00/hour (potential for higher based on experience) *Start Date:* First or second week of June 2026 *Schedule:* Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM *Contract Length:* 12-18 months (long-term opportunity) *About the Opportunity* Join a well-established financial institution focused on delivering secure, compliant banking services to its members. This team plays a critical role in preventing financial crimes such as money laundering and fraud while ensuring adherence to federal regulations. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in compliance investigations with strong training and long-term project stability. *Key Responsibilities* * Review and complete *Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs)* within required regulatory timeframes * Investigate alerts related to *OFAC, 314(a), and watchlist activity* * Analyze transactions to identify potential *fraud, money laundering, or regulatory violations* * File *Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)* when necessary * Conduct research on *BSA/AML regulations and compliance requirements* * Assist with *Customer Due Diligence (CDD)* processes * Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements * Communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders *What You'll Need* * 1-3+ years of experience in *financial services, compliance, or banking* * Exposure to *BSA/AML, fraud investigation, or regulatory compliance* * Strong *analytical and decision-making skills* * Ability to review cases and confidently determine risk * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency with *Microsoft Office tools* *Nice to Have:* * Prior *SAR filing or investigative reporting* experience * Knowledge of *USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and AML regulations* *Work Environment & Training* * *Hybrid schedule* (1-3 days onsite weekly; initial training onsite) * *4 weeks of structured training* before handling cases independently * Business casual dress code * Collaborative team with opportunities for specialization *Why Apply?* * Long-term contract with strong stability (12-18 months) * Hands-on experience in *fraud prevention and compliance investigations* * Opportunity to grow within a specialized financial compliance team * Competitive pay with potential for increase based on experience *Additional Information* * BGand *credit check required (pre-offer)* * Candidates should be comfortable making independent, risk-based decisions in a fast-paced environment *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
