*Summary Team Overview: *
The Marketing Digital Experience Group of Comcast Business is transforming how new and existing Small, Medium, Mid-Market, and Enterprise business prospects and customers establish and grow a long-lasting relationship with Comcast. The Comcast Business Experience Design (XD) team collaborates closely with Sales, Product Management, Customer Experience, Content, Brand, Communications, and Development counterparts to define and design the end digital product, with a stellar customer experience at the forefront of every decision. *Position Description:* As a Sr. UI Designer focusing on the CB Digital Global Design System, you're responsible for creating, evolving, and maintaining a scalable, high-quality design system used across ComcastBusiness.com. This role focuses on building consistent, accessible, and globally adaptable UI components and guidelines that empower teams to deliver cohesive user experiences worldwide. You'll collaborate closely with a team of UX/UI designers, product managers, engineers, front-end developers, content delivery managers, researchers, accessibility specialists, and brand partners to ensure the system reflects best practices, supports localization needs, and helps streamline design and development workflows across the organization. Core Responsibilities: *Design, document, and refine reusable components that work across the website. *Uphold consistent visual standards that can scale. Help establish rules around color palettes, iconography, spacing, and layout rules. *Serve as a thought leader regarding usability and accessibility standards and principles. Knowledge of how accessibility is built into core design system components. *Able to work independently or within a group. You'll work tightly with product managers, UX/UI designers, engineers, and product stakeholders. *Experience building robust documentation to help ensure teams can easily adopt the design system, along with writing component usage guidelines and do/don't examples. *Help define a process and rules for governance that all teams can adhere to. *Participate in project definition activities and cross-team exercises to outline and document project scopes. *Advocate for consistency, clarity, and ease of use for our customers. Qualifications: *5 - 8 years of experience in UI, UX, or related roles designing digital experiences in agile development environments. *Ability to work on multiple projects at once, demonstrating the agility needed to deliver on time and to standard. *Ability to distill and organize large amounts of complex information into simple, usable application designs. *Experience leading the design of global design systems. *Proficiency with rapid prototyping tools and industry standard design tools, such as Figma. *Experience with using publishing tools, such as Zeroheight and Storybook. *Possess strong technical acumen and an ability to understand new technologies. *Familiarity with fundamentals of web and mobile OS *Familiarity with designing for CMS and component-based systems, as well as design delivery to content-management and development teams that support build-out of those systems. *Excellent written and spoken communication skills (both technical and non-technical). *Skilled in designing applications that achieve both user and business objectives. *Awareness of industry and competitor best practices. *Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. *Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. *Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education Level- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Field of Study- Graphic Design, User Experience, Interaction Design, HCI, Information Sciences, Technology Years Experience- Generally requires 5-8 years related experience *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * Onsite 4 days - remote 1 day. Remote day is up to them * Leads the experience design team over Comcast business digital. We lead the design, content strategy and research for CB for the sales side of the house. Our team is made up of UX Designers, UI Designers, researchers and content strategists * Pete is over the UI Designers - brand, interaction and working with the marketing teams plus interfacing with the development teams for the design system * Interview process: first step with Pete (manager), panel with the team, final with Ashley First step will focus on culture fit, make sure they are proactive and ability to work with others * Need to have a portfolio - need to have someone who can explain how they solve a problem and collaborate with partners. They really need to have strong visuals and branding. Want to see clean, business focused, more professional. The level 2 doesn't have to be as polished as the level 3. show that they can follow a brand - have digital interaction patterns * All pods have a UX design, UI Designer, Content, Product and Developer * Potential to extend *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
