Summary:

This position is responsible for the management of all back-end revenue operations, including both Hospital and Professional, for all entities utilizing System Enterprise Services Revenue Cycle. This role drives impactful results across the revenue cycle, including strategic program planning, revenue generation, operational analysis, financial analysis, problem resolution, personnel management and performance improvement.

Responsibilities:
Patient Financial Services: Responsible for directing all patient financial functions including Billing, AR Management, Collections, Denials, Payment Review, Cash Posting / Refunds, Call Center, Customer Service, and Revenue Relations. Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing new systematic approaches to maximizing revenue and cash flow. Provides direction and leadership to assure support and accomplishment of the health system's patient account functions, through well- organized, efficient, and effective patient account processes.

* Requires Bachelor's degree. Master's degree strongly preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* None required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Requires ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience and seven (7) years of management experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Ability to communicate ideas and solutions in a clear, concise manner.
* Identifies problem areas and skill gaps proactively and addresses them appropriately.
* Excellent project management and change management skills for designing and implementing high priority department initiatives in a complex environment.
