Our team members have direct visibility in GS Ayco as strategy/platform implementation experts and engage consistently with teams in regions of responsibility. Portfolio Advisory Group (PAG)

The Portfolio Advisory Group (PAG) is responsible for helping advisors within Ayco win and retain business. PAG team members work with advisors to help them understand the attributes and risks of different investment strategies and construct client portfolios based on strategic and tactical views of the Investment Strategy Group (ISG).

HOW YOU WILL FULLFILL YOUR POTENTIAL



  • Participate in client and prospective client meetings with advisors to share ISG views and discuss portfolio implementation
  • Attain direct visibility in GS Ayco as a strategy/platform implementation expert
  • Engage with advisor teams in regions of responsibility
  • Deliver thoughtful insight on ISG positioning to advisors and to PAG in team meetings
  • Address specific advisor questions regarding product positioning, performance and attribution directly or using product teams as necessary
  • Assist advisors in discussing ISG positioning as well as all internal/external product positioning (including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments).
  • Recommend to advisors implementation of diversified portfolios for specific clients and prospects that conform to ISG recommendations and client objectives and constraints
  • Prepare competitive analyses on various products using Morningstar X-Ray and in-house portfolio analysis tools
  • Mentor new advisors and junior members of the team to help them develop advisory and commercial skills


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR



  • 5 to 8 years of investment experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others
  • Client experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrable quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
  • Demonstrable communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Familiarity with investment management product offerings
  • Active SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 required

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role in Newport Beach, CA United States based position is $75,000 to $160,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
