Summary/Objective:

The Senior Manager of Global Offensive Security is responsible for leading the organization's offensive security program, including penetration testing, red teaming, adversary simulation, and vulnerability validation. This role drives proactive identification of security weaknesses across AI, IT, Cloud, and OT environments and partners with leadership to reduce enterprise risk.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement global offensive security strategies: Lead and mature enterprise offensive security capabilities, including penetration testing, red teaming, and purple team exercises.
  2. Offensive Security Execution: Develop and execute a continuous offensive security strategy aligned to business risk and threat landscape. Simulate real-world adversary techniques (MITRE ATT&CK) across AI, corporate, cloud, and manufacturing environments. Ensure testing coverage across critical systems, applications, AI, and operational technology (OT).
  3. Defensive Security Enhancement: Partner with defensive teams (SOC, IR, Analysts) to validate detection and response capabilities, appropriate security controls, technologies, and processes.
  4. Executive Briefing: Translate technical findings into executive-level risk insights and remediation priorities. Own and lead bi-weekly threat intelligence & continuous improvement briefing in partnership with other teams.
  5. Incident response and crisis management: Engage in incident response to provide forensic insight, adversary attack path, containment strategies, and preventive measures.
  6. M&A Pre-close Activity: Conduct a compromise assessment of potential acquisitions in a confidential manner that safeguards the target and limits liability to the company.
  7. Email Security: Regularly review and update the organization's email security program to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  8. Reporting and communication: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure program effectiveness and risk reduction. Communicate frequently with the VP of Global Information Security (CISO), leveraging clear metrics and key success criteria measures.
  9. Other Duties as assigned: From time to time, the leader may be required to engage in other activities within Global Information Security and, more broadly, across the business.

Working Conditions:

  1. Primarily working indoors, home and in office environment.
  2. May sit for several hours at a time.
  3. Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  4. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  2. 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in offensive security leadership.
  3. Experience with penetration testing, red team operations, and adversary simulation.
  4. Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, SIEM, EDR, NDR (Network Detection and Response), Identity Threat Detection, Darkweb Analysis, Cyber Forensics, OWASP, and vulnerability exploitation techniques
  5. Experience in AI adversarial analysis, OT, and Cloud are highly desired.
  6. Relevant certifications preferred (OSCP, CISSP, CompTIA Pen+, OSCE, CRTO, GPEN, GXPN)
  7. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build consensus and establish trust among team members and stakeholders.
  8. Demonstrated ability to manage complex security projects and initiatives, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.

Lead strategies, build consensus, develop world-class work teams, and implement adequate controls to keep the company safe and drive compliance requirements.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has the supervisory responsibilities of other teammates.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time salary position with a work-from-home option. The position requires availability 24x7x365 as needed to respond to security threats, incidents, and breaches affecting the organization. If working from home, the position would be required to come into the office periodically for meetings.

Travel:

Travel will be moderate and will include domestic and international.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. Management/Leadership experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree
