Overview

A leading experiential marketing agency is seeking a Creative Director to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of immersive brand experiences. This role blends conceptual thinking, design leadership, and client-facing storytelling to deliver high-impact campaigns and environments. The Creative Director will guide multidisciplinary teams, shape creative direction from ideation through execution, and play a key role in new business development.

Key Responsibilities




  • Define and lead creative strategy in partnership with executive leadership.



  • Drive ideation and development of experiential campaigns, activations, and events.



  • Translate client briefs into insight-driven creative concepts alongside strategy partners.



  • Collaborate with account and production teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.



  • Oversee all phases of creative development, from concept through onsite execution.



  • Ensure consistency, quality, and brand integrity across all deliverables.



  • Provide hands-on creative direction across visual, spatial, and experiential design.



  • Review and approve creative assets for storytelling strength and accuracy.



  • Partner with production and technical teams to maintain creative vision through build and execution.



  • Lead new business efforts, including pitches, presentations, and concept development.



  • Develop compelling storytelling materials such as decks, mood boards, and renderings.



  • Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted creative advisor.



  • Lead presentations and facilitate stakeholder alignment.



  • Mentor and manage creative teams and freelance talent.



  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and support team development.



  • Contribute to innovation efforts, including trend research, case studies, and thought leadership.



Required Qualifications




  • 7-10+ years of creative leadership experience in an agency or experiential environment.



  • Proven success leading and winning new business pitches.



  • Strong conceptual thinking, design sensibility, and storytelling skills.



  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, and Google Slides.



  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.



  • Experience collaborating across production, fabrication, and strategy teams.



  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.



  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and execution.



  • Experience in experiential marketing or large-scale event production.



  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Communications, or a related field preferred.



  • Bonus: experience with 2D or 3D design in physical or built environments.
