Job Title: Facilities Reliability Electrician
Location:Assembly Drive

Shift: 1st Shift

Summary of Objective:
Perform advanced facility related preventative electrical maintenance and repairs as a Facility Reliability Electrician (FRE), maintain the Pharmaceutical facilities at a "World Class" level. Apply deductive reasoning and interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions. There are no direct supervisory responsibilities associated with this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

  • Possess an advanced mechanical aptitude to safely diagnose and troubleshoot facility related industrial electrical systems at the direction of a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Engineering Manager including but not limited to:

  • Monitor and diagnose deficiencies of 460/3/60, 240/3/60, 208-230/3/60, and 120/1/60 electrical systems.

  • This includes performing thermo-imaging and current monitoring equipment to prevent overheating of switch gear and panels.

  • Possess the ability to safely service and install electrical branch feeds to Production equipment of the various voltages.

  • Possess the advanced knowledge to properly select fuses to protect facility wiring, and proper disconnecting means.

  • Possess the mechanical attitude to bend and install conduit, utilize pull boxes, properly pull wire, and properly terminate power wiring to provide a safe and effective circuit.

  • To support all PCI departments in special and routine electrical requests.

  • Possess the electrical knowledge to construct control panels and ability to wire the panel per a provided wiring schematic.

  • Possess the electrical knowledge to support the various lighting systems within the PCI facilities.

  • Possess the electrical knowledge to support the FRT team in their electrical needs.

  • This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.

  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.

  • Attendance to work is an essential function of this position

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor

Required:

  • High School Diploma and/or 3-5 years related experience and/or training.

  • Basic Mathematical Skills

  • Basic Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs.

  • Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.

  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.

  • Electrical Building Trades related Associates Degree or Apprenticeship or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of industrial electrical experience.

  • NFPA 70E Training

  • Lock out / tag out.

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.

  • Possess an advanced knowledge of hand and power tools, along with how to use them in a safe and effective manner.

  • Should possess an advanced understanding of facility electrical maintenance including:

  • a. Predictive facilities electrical maintenance programs.

  • b. Scheduled electrical work order programs.

  • c. Ability to comply with cGMP guidelines.

  • d. Advanced understanding of electrical utilities.

  • e. Advanced understanding of MEP, Fire protection systems, and electrical generation systems.

The hiring range for this position is $30.27 - $34.06/hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
