As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Lenoir, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support operations at a technology-focused location by maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, following post orders, and communicating clearly with team members and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
