Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic tech location through visible patrols, driving patrol routes, and attentive monitoring of assigned areas. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents, respond to site needs, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials where required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
• Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and following Allied Universal and client-directed security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
