Security Officer Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Class B Patrol Driver in Lenoir, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, with opportunities to support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, loading docks, trailer yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials for visitors and/or vendors, and report suspicious activity, damaged property, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support access control and traffic flow for deliveries, shipments, and/or employee movement across the location while following post orders and communication procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
