As a Security Officer Access Verification in Riverview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access control points by verifying credentials, screening visitors, processing arrivals and departures, and documenting site access activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entry points, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by maintaining a visible presence, following access protocols, and preparing clear, accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
