As a Security Officer Site Patrol in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support site personnel, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. In this role, you will deliver customer service with integrity, work collaboratively with your team, and bring a reliable, caring, and innovative approach to each shift.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues that could affect daily operations.
• Support emergency response activities according to post orders, including directing individuals, documenting incidents, and assisting with evacuations and/or restricted area control when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
