Overview
The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) will lead largescale, highimpact programs powering Microsoft's AIdriven location and search experiences. This role sits at the intersection of AI, Search, and Geospatial Intelligence, driving missioncritical location services that fuel both consumer experiences (Copilot, Ads, Bing and Bing Places), and commercial partner platforms across Microsoft Products such as Azure, Office and Windows. You will own endtoend delivery of core location capabilities, including location understanding, location search, user location detection, and geospatial platforms, that directly shape how billions of users discover, navigate, and interact with the world, and how partners build intelligent, locationaware solutions on Microsoft platforms. Your work will ensure high reliability, accuracy, and trust, enable location-dependent AI and search systems to deliver precise, realworld relevance at global scale. This is a highly visible role for a technically strong leader who thrives in ambiguity, drives execution with rigor, and brings clarity and alignment across diverse stakeholders. You will influence platform strategy, unblock crossorg dependencies, and translate cuttingedge AI and search innovation into measurable user, partner, and business impact across Microsoft. #MicrosoftAI Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
