Microsoft's Total Rewards organizationislooking for astrategic and analyticalexecutivecompensation professional to join our team asan Executive Compensation Program Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicatedtodesigning, delivering,maintaining, and evolvingexecutivecompensation programs that are compliant and in support of Microsoft's pay priorities.

This is a impact driven individual contributor role focused on compensation analysis, modeling, consulting and executive compensation governance.You will partner across the executive compensation team, HR Business Partners, Legal and other relevant business partners to develop data-driven insights, models and collateral that support our executive compensation programs.

This role requires a unique blend of analytical rigorand clear communication, with the ability totranslate complex pay and governance considerationsinto practical guidance for a broad set of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Executive Compensation Consulting

  • Serve as the primary consultant on executive compensation matters within assigned business groups, partnering directly with HR leadership to attract and retain executives
  • Conduct compensation analysis, costing, and scenario modeling to inform compensation decisions and related tradeoffs
  • Modernize executive compensation modeling tools and resources to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for leaders and key stakeholders

Program Management

  • Partner closely with Legal to ensure executive compensation programs align with disclosure, governance, and compliance requirements and support the development of the Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A ) and proxy tables
  • Prepare materials for leadership and Compensation Committee review, including equity usage analyses and other summaries of ongoing program status
  • Collaborate cross-functionally withinTotal Rewards,ExecutiveRecruiting,andHR Business Partnersto ensureaccurateexecutionandimplementation of executive compensation programs


Qualifications

Required

  • 4+ years compensation experience.

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related field AND 4+years experiencein compensation, data analytics, human resources,finance, business, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related field AND 6+years experiencein compensation, data analytics, humanresources, finance, business, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Preferred

  • 4+yearsexecutivecompensation experience.
  • Compensation project management experience

  • Systems thinking mindset with strong attention to detail and data integrity

  • Clear communicator who can distill complex analyses into concise, compelling narratives

  • Demonstrated ability todeliver within tight timelines and comfortable dealing with ambiguity

Compensation IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
