Summary
Under general supervision, assist genetic counselors in day to day operations. Perform routine administrative duties requiring general knowledge of medical terminology, organizational policies and procedures. Primary Responsibilities
Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management. Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills. QualificationsAppropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis. Minimum Required Education: High school diploma, Minimum Required Experience: 3 year's Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree, medical terminology college level course Physical RequirementsWork requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously. Work EnvironmentOccasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment. Sensory AcuityAbility to detect and translate speech or other communication required.
