GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking an engineering to support engineering projects at our test wall and fire lab in the Beachwood, OH area. We need a dependable and resourceful engineer to assist with miscellaneous projects in support of revamping the test wall and commissioning the fire lab for FY27..

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with project management of the fire lab

• Work through commissioning our test wall.

• Assist with the relocation of the test wall to the fire lab location

• Assist with the R-value chamber commissioning.

• Document and communicate results to team leaders and managers.

• Adhere to pre-determined testing timeframes.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

• Rising sophomore or junior attending advanced studies in chemical or mechanical engineering or a related field at a credited university or college.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

• Some project experience preferred, but willing to train.

OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Dependable
• Willing to learn
• Inquisitive
• Microsoft Office Suite. Statistical software, such as JMP, would be a plus but not necessary.

WORK LOCATION:

• The intern will work onsite at multiple facilities in the Beachwood/Cleveland, OH area.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, balance, talk, hear, and lift up to 25 lbs.

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION:

Tremco CPG Summer Internship is a great opportunity to learn and grow. Our program runs from June 8th to August 6th. Many of our interns return year after year and go on to become some of our best and brightest employees. The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $18 to $22. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
