Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our IT team and support the continuous improvement of AFR's core business systems and processes. The ideal candidate will partner with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and help deliver enhancements across Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016/Armada, Salesforce CRM, and related integrations and reporting tools.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Partner with business users to elicit, document, and validate requirements; translate needs into user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current workflows (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory/asset tracking, billing, and logistics) and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
  • Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with internal IT, developers, and vendors to clarify requirements, evaluate options, and support successful delivery of enhancements and fixes.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test plans and coordinate functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT); track issues to resolution and confirm readiness for deployment.
  • Reporting & Data Management: Support reporting needs, data validation, and KPI definition; partner with BI resources on dashboards and operational/financial reporting (e.g., Power BI).
  • Change Management & Training: Assist with communication, training materials, and end-user support to ensure adoption of new processes and system changes.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of business processes, requirements, configurations, and best practices to support ongoing operations and continuous improvement.
  • Project Support: Participate in cross-functional initiatives including integrations and future ERP modernization activities (fit-gap support, process standardization, and data readiness)

Qualifications
Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting business applications and process improvement.
  • Business Process Knowledge: Working knowledge of ERP/CRM-supported processes such as billing/invoicing, inventory/asset tracking, purchasing, sales order management, and logistics/fulfillment.
  • Requirements & Documentation: Proven ability to gather requirements and produce clear documentation (process maps, user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria).
  • Testing: Experience planning and executing UAT, including defect tracking and retesting.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016/Business Central and/or Armada Dynamics.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and workflow concepts.
  • Familiarity with integrations (e.g., Boomi) and reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Experience in the rental or furniture industry (or a similar field).
  • Experience supporting system upgrades or ERP modernization initiatives. Experience providing training to end-users and creating user guides.
