As a Security Officer - Armed Residential Patrol in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a residential location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through the proper chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, including residential streets, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic, verifying access permissions as directed and addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards, post orders, and applicable laws while supporting a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and guard card is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
