Job Description
JOB OBJECTIVE: The Sales & Marketing Intern, Custom Solutions, will provide support for key commercial and marketing activities that strengthen Promega's Custom/OEM business. This internship will offer hands-on experience in sales prospecting, customer and market research, marketing content development, and operational support for Custom commercial programs. This role will enable the intern to learn about custom manufacturing workflows, sales enablement processes, and marketing operations while contributing to the development of tools, reports, and resources that support the global Custom team. 2. Assist in the development and maintenance of standardized Custom capabilities sales presentations, including creating modular content tailored for specific customer meetings and business reviews. 4. Maintain and update core resources on the Custom SharePoint site, ensuring materials are current, well organized, and accessible to the Custom team and cross-functional partners. 5. Provide logistical and administrative support for Custom team meetings and events, including content preparation, scheduling coordination, and follow-up documentation. 6. Assist with marketing content development such as product capability summaries, prospecting tools, and other sales enablement materials aligned with Custom commercial initiatives. 7. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Program Management to gather information, support project activities, and ensure alignment across teams. 8. Demonstrated proficiency in digital tools and technology, including Microsoft applications and mobile platforms, with the ability to adapt and leverage emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to improve efficiency, automation, and collaboration. 2. Prior exposure to sales and marketing situations 3. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 2. Ability to move around and traverse workspaces as needed. 3. Ability to operate and use laboratory equipment or prepare materials. 4. Ability to use ladders and ascend or descend as necessary. 5. Ability to position oneself in low positions, such as when preparing samples or accessing storage. 6. Ability to move, position, or transport objects weighing up to 20 pounds. 7.
