Job Overview The Analyst, Energy Finance assists in developing annual budgets and forecasts for energy expenses, including electricity, natural gas, fuel oil, mall utilities, water, and steam. The position serves as an analytical finance role within Stores Finance. The Analyst demonstrates adaptability and actively promotes cost-saving initiatives. The role requires a strong sense of urgency, the ability to perform under pressure, and effective collaboration. What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need Financial Analysis and Planning: Expertise in forecasting, financial reporting, and financial modeling to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, while developing actionable strategies to drive business growth. Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong ability to collaborate across teams, including Finance, Accounting, Store Environment, Technology, Analytics, Logistics, and Strategy, to align business goals and support store initiatives. Financial Modeling and Reporting: Experience in conducting in-depth financial analysis to assess and present the impact of store initiatives and drive decision-making. Strategic Thinking and Problem Solving: Strong strategic and creative thinking skills to assess complex financial scenarios, identify opportunities, and implement solutions that drive business performance. Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly and concisely to senior leadership and stakeholders at various levels. Technical Skills Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of Google Big Query being a plus, and the ability to leverage technology to improve financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting processes.
