Lead Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lead Housekeeper to oversee and perform cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example.

* Responsible for the daily operation of Laundry

* Supervision and set-up of housekeeping staff to cover weekends

* Driving a lab vehicle to transport staff, pick-up and drop off of laundry and other supplies

* Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.

* Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.

* Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners.

* Dust window blinds.

* Dust and polish furniture.

* Clean windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; waxing and polishing, as necessary.

* Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.

* Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, and bathroom items.

* Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.

* Clean laundry using commercial washing machines and dryers.

* Fold and prepare bath and bed linens for use.

Schedule:

* Normal work week is Friday thru Tuesday

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

* Housekeeping experience, with a strong focus on customer service. 3 to 5 years of experience preferred.

Skills:

* Valid driver's license

* Demonstrated leadership ability

* Strong customer service and needs assessment skills

* Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment

* Exceptional attention to detail
