The Enterprise Sourcing & Procurement Team at Medica works to optimize cost, ensure quality, and drive value in third-party vendor relationships, while also mitigating risk and enabling continuous improvement. This team manages across end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including demand management, strategic sourcing, category management, vendor contracting and negotiations, vendor management (both risk and performance), and connections to payment.

This role is wellsuited for a highly organized student who enjoys structured work, documentation, coordination, and learning how large organizations manage vendor relationships.

Key Accountabilities



  • Vendor Integration: Support vendor integration activities including maintaining vendor lists, integration trackers, and status dashboards to ensure continuity of services, cost control, and quality delivery during integration efforts
  • Support Procurement Processes: Assist in the documentation and improvement of procurement processes, including sourcing, category management, and vendor management
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Help analyze procurement data and prepare/communicate reports to support decision-making
  • Contract Management: Assist in managing contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Procurement Technology Transition: Help with implementation of and transition from current contract management tool to a new end-to-end procurement tool for all of Medica to use
  • Project Support: Participate in various additional procurement initiatives and projects as assigned, providing administrative and logistical support to ensure successful execution
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with different departments, including finance, legal, and IT, to support cross-functional procurement activities and ensure alignment with business goals


Required Qualifications




  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or a related field




Skills and Abilities



  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Comfort with administrative, coordination, and documentationheavy work
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working with Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a broader team


This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN office, on average, 3 days per week.

The full salary grade for this position is $34,100 - $43,900. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $34,100 - $38,430. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
