2026-2027 School District Positions Available

The Shanksville-Stonycreek School District has the following upcoming full-time openings that include a great benefit package along with a friendly and supportive work environment:

AGRICULTURE/TECHNICAL EDUCATION TEACHER - must hold a PA Agriculture and/or Technology Education certification or equivalent. Additional certifications/endorsements greatly welcomed. Must be able to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom.

LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER - must have PA Certification in Special Education (K-8, 7-12 or K-12). Additional certifications/endorsements greatly welcomed. Must be able to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom.

SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST - must be a licensed psychologist in the state of PA, able to multi- task, possess a knowledge of special education laws, and able to collaborate with all stakeholders. Experience preferred. 204-day contract.

SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER - We are seeking a professional, dependable, and observant SRO to serve in a highly visible role dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure school environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety, professionalism, and community engagement. 176-day contract, grant funded position.

CLASSROOM AIDE – will be responsible for providing student and classroom support services throughout the school day in regular or learning support classrooms.

186-day contract.

VARIOUS DAY-TO-DAY SUBSTITUTES – Day-to-Day substitutes needed for Certified Classroom Teachers, RNs for school nurse, paraprofessionals, custodial staff and cafeteria staff.
