*Work Model:* Hybrid (On-site training required) *Pay Rate:* Up to $23/hour (no exceptions) *Important Location & Compensation Notice* * *Local candidates only*: Must reside in or near *Southfield, MI; Memphis, TN; or St. Petersburg, FL* * *Contract-to-permanent opportunity* based on attendance, performance, and available headcount * *Internal conversion pay rate:* $23/hour (do not exceed this rate) * *Company-provided laptop* included *Training & Schedule* * *Training:* 8 weeks, on-site * *Post-training schedule:* Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days work-from-home) * *Shift options:* * 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM * 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM *Job Summary* The Retirement Plan Services Associate will support Raymond James' Retirement Plan Services department by processing retirement-related forms and handling basic account transactions. This is an excellent *entry-level opportunity* for someone who is detail-oriented and interested in building a career in financial services. The role is primarily back-office focused, with little to no phone work. *Key Responsibilities* * Process retirement plan forms and basic transactions, including: * Rollovers * Internal transfers * Death certificate processing * Respond to email inquiries related to account and transaction issues * Accurately identify issues and deliver client-focused solutions while ensuring compliance with IRS and regulatory requirements * Apply retirement plan knowledge to interpret rules and regulations * Audit account activity to confirm accuracy and regulatory compliance * Review client correction requests and partner with branch personnel to determine appropriate resolutions * Collaborate with internal departments to research and resolve issues * Review daily productivity reports to track and evaluate personal performance * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retirement plan rules through training and internal/external resources *Qualifications* * Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to interpret rules, follow procedures, and meet regulatory requirements * Clear written communication skills (email-driven role) * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Interest in financial services, retirement plans, or compliance is a plus *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, FL. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
