Ecolab is hiring for a Production Planner to support our McDonough, GA location. TheProduction Plannerdrives production scheduling in the McDonough, GA lean manufacturing environment to meet inventory needs based on internal/external customer demands. The planner will be responsible for ensuring that 300+ SKU's are planned based on the master-schedule across 8 manufacturing lines. Gain recognition as you work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, manufacturing and RD&E to execute the sourcing & manufacturing strategy to meet customer needs in a timely manner with given forecast data and within equipment and personnel constraints, understanding Ecolab's manufacturing capabilities. This role plays a strategic part in the annual budgeting process, reviewing higher-level production plans against plant capacity.

Location Information: This will be a first shift role at our plant located at 261 Hwy 155 South, McDonough, GA 30253. Products include a wide range of consumer and industrial cleaning and sanitation products for the quick-service food industry including liquid, solid cast, and products representing more than 300 SKUs involving 8 lines and over 15 mixing vessels.

Hours:

* Monday-Friday -- 7am to 4pm

* Responsible for pulling weekly schedule report on Sunday before 10pm. Task can be completed remotely

What You Will Do

* Develop production plans that optimize plant output and efficiencies.

* Develop mid-range capacity planning reports.

* Leading Cross Department Meetings

* Achieve divisional service level goals for manufactured products.

* Achieve plant finished goods inventory targets both in terms of dollars and days on hand (DOH)

* Achieve plant raw material inventory targets both in terms of dollars and days on hand (DOH) to the extent of creating an accurate plan with all planning parameters in place such that the MRP requirements for the purchasing department are accurate.

* Manage excess, obsolete, and slow moving items in accordance with corporate policies and annual objectives.

* Implement plans for the timely integration of new products and processes.

* Maintain the systems (manual or computerized) that document all planning activity and propose and implement improvements in the existing programs

* Participate in safety programs to provide staff assistance in creating a workplace in which employees can work safely.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Management, Logistics, Transportation or Logistics Materials Management

* 2+ years post undergraduate work experience

* No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment; 1+ years pf experience in a related manufacturing environment

* 1+ years of experience in manufacturing Production or Planning with Knowledge of MRP/MPS

* Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment with a combination of project management skills

* SAP experience

* Experience in marketing, sales, customer service, or other role and / or experience implementing cross-divisional, cross-functional initiatives.

* Experience using Microsoft Excel with intermediate proficiency in the use of Excel to create worksheets for reporting purposes using: formulas to calculate values, multiple interactive worksheets to manage and consolidate data, and graphs and charts to illustrate trends.

* Experience using Microsoft Access with intermediate proficiency in the use of Access to create databases, import data, run queries and produce reports.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $74,700.00 - $112,200.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
