As a Security Officer TWIC Entry Screening in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, assist visitors and staff, and use strong communication and teamwork to support daily operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor screening practices, badge verification, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log visitors, vendors, and deliveries, and report unusual activity or access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with professionalism, following site protocols and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations, noting suspicious behavior, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Support security-related operations within a chemical and petrochemical location by helping to deter unauthorized access, documenting incidents, and following post orders and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
