JOB SUMMARY
The Support Center Manager is responsible for providing overall supervision of personnel and management of the support center. This position is responsible for the success of the support center and prefab coordination.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • This is a union position. Requires the knowledge of electrical construction and theory.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Five years' supervisory experience.


KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES


  • Strong Supervisory skills.
  • Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong experience in electrical prefabrication design and installation.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Bluebeam.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Prefabrication activities including production and optimizing use of facilities and personnel.
    • Ordering and tracking prefab material.
    • Manage bulk ordered material for each job including order reviews to prevent excess material orders.
    • Manage material receiving and delivery coordination to job sites.
    • Manage tool tracking/tool watch including receiving and labeling all new tools.
    • Shop drawing QA/QC and takeoffs with the BIM team and field leaders.
    • Manage fleet vehicle maintenance and repairs.
    • Responsible for scheduling calibration of all tools, testers and hot work equipment; ensure yearly testing is completed.
    • Hot weather management for ice and water coolers - set up and delivery to all job sites daily by 6AM.
    • Ensure company safety culture is maintained as a priority.
    • Support safety department (help organize storage areas & deliveries).
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.


    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


    • The most challenging aspect of this position is ensuring the needs of the field employees are met within strict time constraints. The changing business environment, technological advances, and evolving workforce stretch one's ability to keep company policies, procedures, documentation, and employee knowledge up to date with current practices.
    • Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).
