Security Officer - Distribution Center Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, or suspicious activity through established security-related reporting channels.
• Support workplace operations by following post orders, assisting with directional requests, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across office, campus, and/or distribution-related environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
