Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a calm environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations involving individuals in crisis or requiring de-escalation support.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, treatment areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or report concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, document incidents and observations, and communicate with staff and first responders when needed regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
