Job Description:

The Deputy CME - Connected Services STLA Brain role is responsible for leading the conception, design, development, and delivery of every Connected Services component (Server/Client) on the specific EE architecture called STLA Brain. The overall role will be to coordinate Connected Services teams (IVI - In-vehicle Infotainment, TCU - Transmission Control Unit, SDP - Service Delivery Platform, ADP - Mobile / Web) to generate requirements, oversee the infrastructure/architecture, align development efforts, and ensure validation teams through their program related activities to ensure all Connected Services components launch successfully on their targeted programs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to pave your own career path as you present your progress to senior leadership and solidify your program management skills.

Job Responsibilities include:



  • Collaborate with the Connected Services Product teams in their product development requirements and assist them with the budget development
  • Comprehend the new EE architecture and perform comparative study among the old and architectures to protect the portfolio of connected services
  • Manage the complexity and work towards reducing the complexity in the technical composition
  • Align with all the ECU product owners and the Engineering teams to deliver the connected services
  • Proactively address all the open issues in the overall design / development and ensure solution and timings ahead of time to protect the milestones
  • Present status updates at Vice President level and above to ensure names/dates/deliverables can be tracked and support awareness to the global program team
  • Ensure validated component testing meets all performance and quality objectives
  • Support innovation and robustness workshops to further stabilize the OTA eco-system for current and future programs

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in automotive and/or IT related roles
  • Previous experience with Internet of things and or vehicle connectivity
  • Previous project management experience with successful track record of delivering features/programs
  • Experience with Quality, Timing, Cost, Performance (QTCP)
  • Excellent risk assessment and management skills
  • Ability to work in a globally distributed team across multiple time zones
  • Be goal-oriented in the achievement of project results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • English Language - Fluent
    • Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams - Proficient
    • Agile Development Process - Beginner / Intermediate




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or other directly related field
  • French or Italian Language - Proficient
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or related field
  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities in a cross functional setting
  • Experience with risk management techniques and tools, and ability to effectively forecast and manage risk to connected vehicle launches
  • Ability to create clear / concise presentations for review with multiple levels of management
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to interact with business partners and service providers at multiple levels
  • Proven organization skills
