Job Title: Student Services Specialist/ Financial Aid Processor Pay Rate: $20.44per hr on W2 Location: Tempe, AZ 85281 Duration: 14+ Months Shift Schedule- Mon - Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch); occasional Saturdays and Holidays (40 hours a week and eligible for overtime based on business needs). Must: Experience in Student Services or Financial Aid. One year of clerical, administrative, office support, or related experience. Note: Training is usually 4 weeks in-office until the staff member is able to perform essential duties with minimal supervision (usually 4 weeks) using their own computer at home. Hybrid: 80% on-site, 20% remote after training. Please note: Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch); occasional Saturdays and Holidays (40 hours a week and eligible for overtime based on business needs). A computer will not be provided for at-home use; however, the staff member can use their own computer as long as it supports our systems and meets work-from-home requirements/standards. Roles and Responsibilities: The Student Services Technician is a key member of the Student Engagement and Recruitment Team and plays a vital role in supporting the college's strategic enrollment goals. This position is responsible for high-touch phone outreach (100+ dials / up to 3.00 hours of talk time daily), relationship-building, and student engagement efforts designed to increase admissions and enrollment, and ensure successful onboarding. The technician serves as a student-centered resource by guiding individuals from initial inquiry through enrollment. Required Experience: One year of clerical, administrative, office support, or related experience.
