Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Equipment Finance Underwriter for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Irving, TX, Minneapolis, MN and Des Moines, IA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will join the Vendor Financial Services team to underwrite the creditworthiness of moderately complex commercial or business loan and lease requests. You will review and research financial challenges, maintain risk ratings, and collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve business objectives within the Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area. Responsibilities: Lead or participate in research and underwrite the creditworthiness of moderately complex commercial or business loan and lease requests Review and research moderately complex commercial or business loan and lease requests that require an in-depth evaluation Perform periodic reviews on assigned portfolio credits Maintain risk ratings and other relevant data on systems of record Approve loans or leases within delegated credit authority and recommend transactions in excess of that authority Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and middle level managers to achieve business objectives Work with internal and external business partners to gather information to make appropriate decisions Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Finance Requirements: 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education 4+ years of Equipment Finance Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired skills: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or related field Experience underwriting transactions and exposures in excess of *MM Financial Analysis experience Experience working across multiple industries in an underwriting capacity (i.e. construction, transportation, industrial, manufacturing, office technology, health care and technology) Experienced and proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Pay range:** $55.63 - $63.63 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
