Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Residential Mental Health & Crisis Care
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM

NRI Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver high-quality medical and psychiatric nursing care in a structured residential setting. The LPN will support individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges and/or substance use crises, ensuring safe medication management, ongoing physical health monitoring, and effective crisis intervention.

Working within a trauma-informed care framework, the LPN helps maintain a safe and therapeutic environment while adhering to all relevant state and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Assessment: Perform and document physical health screenings and nursing assessments during admission and throughout residents' stay.
• Medication Management: Administer prescribed oral and injectable medications, maintaining accurate Medication Administration Records (MAR) in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Care Planning: Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track residents' physical and mental health changes, including potential adverse medication reactions, and report significant findings to clinical staff promptly.
• Crisis Intervention: Use approved de-escalation techniques to manage behavioral crises, maintaining a safe and least restrictive environment.
• Documentation: Complete all required nursing notes, incident reports, and discharge paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Health Education: Provide guidance on medications, personal hygiene, and wellness recovery in individual or group settings.
