About the Opportunity

The Lead, People Operations will join the Global People Operations team within the People function. The team provides consistent service and support across people process, operations, and program management. Our global team is both a strategic partner and hands-on team focused on gathering business requirements, optimizing, and implementing people processes.

This role will focus on People Operations responsibilities including but not limited to organizational structure & data management, reporting, document management, and implementation of global initiatives.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose process challenges and design effective solutions

  • Serve as the Workday Business Process SME. Standardize and streamline associated Workday HCM.

  • Provide day to day People Operations support including troubleshooting issues and serving as the escalation point for process and systems issues.

  • Manage the US & Canada employee populations employment lifecycle from an admin perspective (hiring, onboarding, I-9s, job changes, absences, termination)

  • Perform operational duties required to keep the process running consistently

  • Understand the end to end business process for employee lifecycle processes and partner to design Workday to enable business needs

  • Investigate ways to improve existing processes and fix pain points through automation, streamlining, and shared services

  • Create clear, visually appealing, and informative slide decks to effectively communicate complex data and strategies to various audiences

  • Provide day to day People Operations support in our case management tool including troubleshooting tier 1 issues such as Employment Verification Letters, Help Desk Call Center, standard documentation drafting, & personnel filing

  • Ability to confidently project manage, owning specific infrastructure requirements and roadmap deliverables (e.g., Time Tracking, Absence, Probation, Talent). Apply skills in business process analysis, requirements definition, testing, documentation, training, user adoption and change management.

  • Support development, maintenance and delivery of curriculum to support internal training and change management

  • Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular maintenance and system audits

  • Support development of standard reporting and ad hoc report requests

  • Participate in system updates and enhancement projects

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field is required

  • 1-3 years of Workday HCM experience required

  • 3+ years of general HR operations experience

  • Proficiency in Google Slides with the ability to leverage advanced features for professional formatting, animation, and graphic integration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with demonstrated expertise in using advanced functions like VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and creating and utilizing Pivot Tables for data analysis

  • Proactive and able to organize and prioritize with limited guidance; work independently or within teams, and meet deadlines

  • Genuine excitement and passion for leading root cause analysis, troubleshooting technical process failures, and implementing fixes to operationalize a process

  • Proven ability to diagnose problems with strategic thinking skills, as well as drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and communications for management-level audiences

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay:$67,500 to $90,000 annually

Incentive Compensation:WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.

Benefits:Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including: 20 days of PTO, approximately 13 paid holidays, and 80 hours of paid sick time per full calendar year; 16 weeks paid parental leave; competitive healthcare benefits; 401k plan; and life and AD&D insurance.
