Job Description:

Analytical Mechanics Associates,Inc.,(AMA) is seekingan Aerospace System Analyst with experience in human space exploration and technology assessments.The role will support theSpace Mission AnalysisBranch(SMAB)at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA, and theExploration Systems Development Mission Directorate(ESDMD)Science, Technology,Utilization,and Integration Team.The projectobjectiveis to provideSpace Systems Analysis andIntegration support.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 commensurate with education and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical analyses within theCapabilities Integration Team (CIT),toinclude interfacing withNASAStrategyand ArchitectureOffice (SAO) leadership, definingtasks, andcompletingrequired reviews, analyses, or integrationactivities.

  • Interfacewith Strategy and Architecture Office (SAO) leadership, defining tasks, and running the required reviews, analyses, or integration tasks.

  • Coordinatewith capabilities teamsacrosstheNASAStrategyand ArchitectureOffice (SAO),andact as an interface for providingdata productsand architecture inputsas needed.

  • Provideanalysis and integration of the Capabilities Integration Team (CIT) data products.

  • Review,integrate, andanalyzethecapabilityteamsinputs; analysis of the CIT products and gap closure plans; and maintenance and updates to the dataset as needed.

  • Coordinate with thecapabilitiesteams across the Agency onsubmitteddata products and architecture team inputs/discussions.

Required Experience:
  • B.S.DegreeinAerospaceEngineeringorotherapplicable degree.

  • Experience in human space exploration and technology assessments.

  • 2years of relevant experience inSpace SystemsAnalysis.

  • Positive, curious,enthusiastic, and organized,able to work independently andleadsmall teams.

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Teams.

Must be a US Citizen orUSPermanent Resident.
