Job Description

We are currently hiring an On Premise Chain Manager for Northern Texas and Oklahoma.The ideal candidate must live in Dallas, TX*.

The On Premise Chain Manager responsible for increasing availability and visibility of Boston Beer portfolio of brands within their assigned regional territory to generate depletion growth while adding value to our wholesaler and retailer partners. Primary focus is dedicated to On Premise Regional Restaurant Groups while aligning with the Division Chaing Manager and Geo teams to execute the programs in their respective territory. In addition, assist in developing the entire On Premise COT.
*Please note thatwhile this position is listed as "working remotely", our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

What You'll Brew:

  • Be proficient in systems and selling process with retailers, wholesalers, and team of indirect reports
  • Be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product style
  • Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business in National/Region/Local account groups while managing budgets to proper ROI
  • Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver creative & impactful presentations with proficiency using PowerPoint
  • Maintain and strengthen buyer & wholesaler relationships through strategic selling and superior customer service
  • Develop & drive Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for defined account base
  • Effectively mobilize wholesaler network and BBC sales teams to fulfill all BBC mandates, sell vs. authorizations/approved packages, compliance issues, focus timeframes and other key selling opportunities

What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years adult alcohol beverage industry experience
  • Wholesaler management and/or on premise national account management experience
  • Ability to interpret data to create selling stories
  • Excel proficiency
  • Must be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beer
  • Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
  • Local travel to attend sales calls and meetings (~60%)

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven success with managing and developing a team and individuals

Level: 6IC
At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $90,000 and $140,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
