The Training Specialist will support the fermentation department-working closely with Supervisors, Coordinators, area management, and subject matter experts to strengthen learning, close skill gaps, and elevate capabilities across the team. This team is dedicated to driving operational excellence through high-quality delivery of TWI (Training Within Industry) standards, ensuring that every department benefits from consistent, effective learning and development.
The Role & Your Impact
In this role, you will deliver meaningful training that improves performance, builds confidence, and supports operational precision on the production floor. You will shape and optimize learning programs, ensure compliance, and help leaders assess skills and address capability gaps. As a specialist, your work directly enhances safety, quality, and efficiency across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Deliver training sessions (TWI Job Instruction certification required), including Management, Spot the Talent, and Train-the-Trainer sessions.
  • Lead or coordinate individual and group operational trainings.
  • Assist in curriculum development, material creation, and scheduling.
  • Support development and coordination of process confirmations and recertifications.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance as a OneMS champion.
  • Partner with area managers to identify skill gaps and develop aligned training content.
  • Track program effectiveness through KPIs and maintain skill matrices across all departments.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, HR (P&O), or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Training Coordinator/Facilitator with full-cycle training exposure (needs assessment through evaluation).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Competencies:
    • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication abilities.
    • Attention to detail, especially in documentation and compliance.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Ways of Working / Working Conditions
  • Onsite position based in West Allis.
  • Primarily office-based with regular walks to production areas.
  • Physical requirements: ability to stand/walk up to 10% of the time.
  • Occasional need to wear PPE (dust mask, hearing protection, etc.).
  • Work within an environment that may include noise, dust, or temperature variation.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $75,000-$85,000 based on experience
  • Retirement: 401(k) with up to 9% company contribution
  • Time off: 3 weeks of vacation + 12 holidays + 2 weeks of Wellness Time
