The Opportunity with McKinstry

This Senior Product Manager role is a key leadership position supporting the rollout of Procore as part of McKinstry's Core IV initiative, aligned with the broader enterprise transformation driven by Elevate, the company's ERP replacement.

In this role, you will lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of Procore as a core platform for construction delivery. You will ensure alignment with enterprise systems, support standardized processes, and enable scalable solutions that connect field operations with financial and business systems.

A primary focus will be driving adoption during the initial rollout, establishing best practices, and ensuring Procore effectively supports critical workflows such as document control, RFIs, submittals, and project financials. You will also identify gaps, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with long-term enterprise goals.

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, along with the ability to influence across a complex stakeholder environment and drive change in a high-visibility transformation effort.

Location: this position is based in Seattle, WA and works a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Transformation Leadership

  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Procore as a core platform within McKinstry's Core IV and Elevate initiatives
  • Drive alignment between Procore and ERP (Elevate) systems, ensuring seamless integration of construction, financial, and operational workflows
  • Define and deliver scalable, standardized processes across business units to support consistent project execution
  • Identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities during rollout, and proactively develop mitigation strategies
  • Partner with senior leaders across construction, finance, and technology to align product direction with enterprise transformation goals

Product Delivery & Execution

  • Own end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, from requirements definition through implementation and post-launch optimization
  • Lead cross-functional workshops to define business requirements, workflows, and adoption strategies
  • Oversee configuration, enhancements, and integrations within Procore to support evolving business needs
  • Guide User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and rollout activities to ensure successful deployment and adoption
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with long-term enterprise architecture

Adoption & Change Management

  • Drive enterprise adoption of Procore by developing and executing change management strategies
  • Establish best practices, governance, and usage standards across project teams
  • Partner with field teams and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet real-world operational needs
  • Monitor adoption metrics and user feedback to continuously improve product effectiveness and user experience

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, vendors, and implementation partners
  • Translate complex business needs into clear product requirements and prioritized roadmap items
  • Influence decision-making across a diverse stakeholder group in a highly matrixed environment
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders

People Leadership

  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality delivery across product initiatives

What You Need To Succeed at McKinstry:

  • 6-10 years in product management or technology solutions for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the vision, strategy, and delivery of key products and product roadmaps for a Line of Business (LOB) and/or Corporate Service Unit (CSU).
  • Demonstrated product management and/or project management skills.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and partner pain points, translating needs into technology-driven solutions.
  • Build trust and collaborative relationships with stakeholders across teams and levels, applying product management expertise to deliver scalable solutions that improve user experience and performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrate and embody McKinstry's core values in daily work, decision-making, and collaboration.
  • Comfortable navigating and working within a variety of software platforms to understand functionality, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies preferred.
  • Experience supporting or working with platforms such as Procore is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including SharePoint, MS Project, and Power BI, is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $99,270 - $169,900 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
