POSITION SUMMARY

Under minimal supervision, the Technical Trainer III is a senior-level training professional responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced technical training programs. This role serves as a subject-matter expert (SME), leads complex training initiatives, and mentors junior trainers, while ensuring high-quality learning experiences that align with organizational goals.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Interface with customer and functional organizations to develop course content specifications. (Essential)
  • Ensure that training courses address all levels of customers in the use of company products/services. (Essential)
  • Develop training curricula, determine training objectives, and prepare training programs, procedures, tests, handouts, and laboratory exercises. (Essential)
  • Instruct participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions. (Essential)
  • Administer written and practical exams. (Essential)
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics, feedback, and performance data. (Essential)
  • Work with engineering, sales, technical support, and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features. Must be willing to travel. (Essential)
  • Assess customer needs for future course development. (Essential)
  • Perform task and skill analysis of training requirements and personnel based on the deployment of a particular system or training needs for a particular system. (Essential)
  • Tailor instruction based on the level of knowledge of the students. Interact with the training developer and user to assist with the design and implementation of the total training package. (Essential)
  • Review training material submitted by subordinate trainers and recommend paths for improvement. (Essential)
  • Train and mentor Technical Trainer I-II. (Essential)
  • Comply with EBARA's safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara and customer safety policies. (Essential)
  • Perform other duties as assigned. (Non-Essential)

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Education, Communications, or equivalent experience.


Experience



  • Five (5) years of Instructor experience in a professional or academic environment is required.
  • Eight (8) or more years of work-related experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in curriculum development, technical writing, and delivering technical training programs to support knowledge transfer and workforce development.
  • PBET or CRI certification and CMP or Plating experience are preferred.
  • Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the electrical and electronics fields, with a basic understanding of chemistry.
  • Strong Customer Relations skills.

  • Proficient with MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Speaking in front of groups. Strong time management skills. Self-starter.
  • Demonstrated leadership and program management skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customers.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Provide verification of a good driving record if servicing the customer off-site.
