Energy Storage AWS Certified Welder - Ohio

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Welder that will provide preparation, handling and supplying of materials. Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload equipment and materials

• Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials

• Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blue prints and specifications

• Assist engineering with prints and documentation design

• Conducting daily activities according to documented quality system procedures and work instructions

• Basic problem solving techniques and troubleshooting; as related to welding component parts

• General cleanup and clearing of debris

QUALIFICATIONS

• AWS Certified

• Minimum 2 year of experience as a welder

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment.

• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements

• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with others and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

• Possess basic understanding of construction hand tools

• Positive professional attitude

• Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies

• Ability to adapt to change

• Punctual and dependable
