Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to Account Manager and customers during the order fulfillment process and in servicing new accounts or additional business for existing accounts, helping ensure account retention and growth.
  • Handles incoming calls and assists on calls when needed.
  • Places orders for the Account Manager.
  • Follows up as needed on orders to ensure satisfactory delivery.
  • Prepare quotes, research customer product questions, and assist with bids.
  • Handles all aspects of order preparation.
  • Serves customers at the highest level in order to assist in closing any potential sales.
  • Assists the Account Manager with stock, credit, and shipping issues, as well as open/backlogged orders.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask and manage priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to send correspondence via email and to make and receive telephone calls.
  • Adaptable with the ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to compose professional business communications via email.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with item-by-item focus, meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.
  • Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
