As our
Echocardiographic Technician in the Adult Non-Invasive Laboratory you will coordinate
and perform echocardiography procedures across inpatient, outpatient, portable and
intra-operative settings, producing high-quality diagnostic cardiac images
while following established protocols. You will integrate clinical knowledge of
cardiovascular anatomy, physiology and ultrasound physics to assess patients of
all ages, document findings and communicate critical results to the care team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting workflow efficiency
through scheduling coordination, equipment maintenance, supply management,
accurate documentation and use of hospital information systems. The position
also contributes to training, quality improvement (including ICAEL QI
participation) and adherence to safety, regulatory and professional standards
while maintaining readiness for on-call and emergency response. Your primary
location will be at West Valley Medical Center and support may be required at
our Ronald Reagan and Santa Monica Hospitals.

This per
diem role may convert to career.

Salary
Range: $73.23 Hourly

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Cardiac Echocardiography Technology
    Program - required
  • Registered with ARDMS-RDCS
    (AE) for Adults or with ARDMS-RDCS (PE) for Pediatrics - required
  • CPR from American Heart
    Association or American Red Cross - required
  • At least 3 years of Adult or Pediatric/Fetal echo tech experience - required
  • Some Pediatric echo
    experience - preferred
  • Able to take call and
    report to duty within 60 minutes of request
  • Knowledge and ability to apply knowledge of cardiac anatomy,
    physiology, and pathophysiology
  • Ability to apply theory to practice in the application of
    ultrasound technique to the clinical evaluation of the target anatomy
  • Ability to push the 500+ lb. echo machine for distances up to
    100 feet within the office
